The cube-like building with approximately 100m in width and height has 30 stories and a total floor area of 216,000 square meters. It has a range of sustainability features, in order to maximize the ventilation, use of natural lighting and solar energy; overflowing hanging gardens and wide-open spaces are additional features.
Flexible lighting solutions match to the versatile architecture, as they provide lighting according to users' needs and space layouts. High visual comfort is a key benefit for the work environments and different facilities. DALI Lighting controls (including daylight linking and occupancy sensing) were utilized to reduce energy consumption.
Amorepacific headquarters incorporates climatic and cultural characteristics of Seoul in a high-rise courtyard building concept that provides more than a company workplace, but one that showcases Korea’s rich and versatile architectural heritage that makes it an attractive public destination for all walks of life. The Atrium is an independent and flexible space, making the building in itself a permanent and flexible role to remain as a public social space with the presence of museums, restaurants, childcare facilities and diverse events and cultural exchanges that can take place.
