For the inner courtyard of Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, the challenge was to create and implement a new outdoor lighting. It was aimed to enhance architectural features and artworks and to create an inviting ambiance for visitors. Also high energy efficiency and a focus of sustainability was required. The space should be adaptable to multiple uses and events.
Using ERCO outdoor projectors with high quality LED technology have proven to be the ideal solution for precise and glare-free illumination. The fixtures blend seamlessly with the historic architecture and the implementation of dynamic lighting with DALI control system allows to adjust the light scene to different events and exhibitions.
The new lighting improves the visibility of artworks and architectural details. It enhances the visitors' experience through carefully designed lighting ambiance. Besides that, the lighting tools reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs.
