Millesgården - art, nature and light in harmony
Millesgården on Lidingö island is one of Sweden's most important art museums. The former residence and studio of sculptor Carl Milles now captivates visitors from around the world with a unique combination of art, architecture and nature. Particularly impressive is the expansive sculpture park, where 19 of Milles' works are showcased in the open air. To ensure that the impact of these artworks can also be experienced after nightfall, the outdoor area was specifically equipped with high-quality lighting – creating an atmospheric stage for sculptures that fascinate both day and night.
Beamer projectors by ERCO in size S provide precise illumination for the sculptures. The luminaire fades into the background, allowing the artwork to be magically illuminated in the dark. The projectors can be wirelessly controlled via Casambi - perfect for easily setting different lighting scenes using a smartphone or tablet.
