It took two years to restore the chapter house dating from the 16th century – and now the frescoes by Juan de Borgoña, the magnificent coffered ceiling and the portraits of the Archbishops of Toledo radiate with freshness and rich detail. Parscan wallwashers now illuminate the frescoes and Pollux contour spotlights the framed paintings. These are suspended from Hi-trac track that is fitted with LED modules on its upper side that softly illuminate the ceiling: for an overwhelming effect with minimal intervention into the historic substance.
