The Aula Maggiore Roberto Franceschi is the major lecture hall at Bocconi University. When working on the lighting design and upgrade for the main auditorium, there were several conditions: The optimal lighting should be provided for lectures and presentations. And the light should create a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. Integrating a modern lighting technology in a historical setting was a main challenge but could be solved with thoughtful concepts and matching lighting tools.
