A diversity of mounting methods

With the appropriate accessories you can realize flush mounting on ceilings or walls instead of surface mounting, or pendant suspension in high rooms.

One track for different types of control

ERCO uses a track profile for 2-circuit operation with two separately switchable circuits. You can also integrate wireless control types such as Casambi Bluetooth and Zigbee.

Product description

ERCO track is the flexible and sustainable infrastructure for spotlights, downlights, wallwashers and pendant luminaires. The track can be fixed to ceilings and walls, and luminaires can be moved or replaced with simplicity. Using the wide range of connection options you can construct ERCO track as a rectangular structure for example, to name just one of the many possibilities. The extensive range of accessories transforms the track into a universal infrastructure for architecture. Singlets are also available for individual luminaires. In addition to 2-circuit operation, the track is also suitable as a power supply for wireless controls such as Casambi Bluetooth and Zigbee. This makes ERCO track a very versatile infrastructure for lighting in museums, shops and offices.

Simply cut to size and install on site
ERCO track is easily cut to size on site using a miter saw. There is no danger of damaging the conductor paths in the process. Easy to push out punched holes at distances of 3 ¾" enable simple and quick mounting of ERCO track on ceilings and walls.

Extremely stable and durable
ERCO track is made of high quality aluminum. It is available in lengths up to 12ft. The spotlight adapters are similarly robust: designed for continuous use, the adapters are also not damaged by regular insertion and removal.

High quality powder coating
Suspended track in particular is distinctly noticeable in architecture. That is why we pay great attention to excellently finished surfaces. ERCO track is powder coated to a high standard – including the inside of the track. In addition to standard black or white, ERCO track is also available with anodized surfaces and in 10,000 further colors.

Individual solutions
We offer you options for customizing your track via our "ERCO individual" service. You can thus plan your project with e.g. curved track to optimally coordinate the technical infrastructure with the interior design.

Surface-mounted track

ERCO track can be mounted directly on ceilings, beams and walls thanks to easy to push out punched holes or by means of fixing clips available as accessories.

Recessed track

Using a plaster trim profile as an accessory, you can install ERCO track flush in the ceiling.

Recessed flanged track

Flanged track has support surfaces for acoustic panels and ceiling panels and is therefore suitable for installation in suspended ceilings.

Pendant track

ERCO track can be suspended from the ceiling with wires or pendant tubes available as accessories.

Recessed singlet

ERCO singlet for recessed mounting for power supply to a luminaire with turning adapter for 2 circuits

Surface-mounted singlet

Arranging track

The best arrangement for track is along the walls with a distance to the wall of 1/3 of the room height. In this way you can use spotlights and wallwashers to optimally illuminate the walls of museums, galleries and shops. If furniture such as shelves or cabinets are placed in front of the wall, the distance should be modified according to the front plane of the furniture.

For optimum illumination of office workstations, it is recommended to position the track centered on the longitudinal axis of the desks.

Extensive accessories for universal use

Connectors for various geometries

Whether straight line, L-shape, rectangle, figure eight or line bending at an angle—find accessory connectors suitable for the different geometries on the data sheet of the track.

Accessories for diverse suspensions

Decorative hooks also allow the track to be used as infrastructure for objects with weights up to 22lbs / 10kg. Alternatively, mounting components with threaded pins or screws can be used for suspension from the track.

Are accessories such as decorative hooks for track available?

ERCO track has a wide range of accessories. These include decorative hooks that can be used in a variety of ways in shops and museums.

At what distance should the track be mounted from the wall?

In general we recommend a distance to the wall of 1/3 of the room height for track along the walls, i.e. 3 1/3ft. wall distance for a 10ft. high room. If furniture such as shelves or cabinets are present, the distance should be adjusted according to the front plane of the furniture.

What spacing should track have in large rooms?

For large rooms with a height of 10ft. we recommend arranging the track in parallel with spacing of 7ft. This enables exhibits in a museum to be flexibly illuminated in the room.
