Restaurant

Light for enjoyment: Good light for atmosphere and meals.

The challenge in planning the lighting in a restaurant lies in finding a concept which combines functional aspects with the given architecture and the interpretation of the restaurant's gastronomic concept. Brilliant light with good colour rendering produces a pleasant atmosphere at the buffet and on the tables. Zoned lighting creates light islands for private sections in a larger room. A uniform lighting concept, on the other hand, would set off the restaurant as a unit.

Entrance

Producing the effect of a "welcome mat" made of light for inside and out. Downlights provide homogeneous ambient lighting in the foyer. As workplaces, the reception desk and cloakroom are treated separately in line with the visual tasks at hand.

Restaurant

Bar

The dynamic play of colours on the backlit rear wall creates an effective eye-catcher. Spotlights provide glare-free illumination for the bottle shelf and the bar. Pendant luminaires lower the height of the light points above the standing tables.

Individual light beams for each table create a private atmosphere with brilliant light.

Restaurant

Hall

Different light scenes for reception, talk or dinner can be adjusted to meet changing requirements. The downlights in a grid can be dimmed for ambient lighting during dinner. Wallwashers directed towards the concrete wall produce discreet background lighting for events such as talks. The grazing light on the curtains provides brilliance, but also marks off the hall from the adjacent rooms. The suspended luminaires lend a prestigious atmosphere to the room.

Garden

The outside, for example, can be divided into two zones of different distance: the terrace with subdued ambient lighting and the area with vegetation - accentuated by in-ground luminaires and spotlights.
