Timisoara Art Museum is located in the Baroc Palace in Timisoara, Romania. The Baroc Palace is a historic 18th-century building, originally constructed as a residence for the local governor. The museum’s collection features works of Romanian and European art, as well as temporary exhibitions showcasing contemporary art. Notable exhibits include paintings by Romanian artist Nicolae Grigorescu, alongside works by other Romanian artists such as Theodor Aman and Gheorghe Petrascu. Museum lighting with ERCO spotlights highlights the artworks, shapes exhibition concepts, and provides visitors with excellent visual comfort.
Eclipse spotlights and contour spotlights illuminate the artworks with precise, sharp-edged light. The artworks become the focal point of the space, directing visitors’ attention. Each exhibition room offers a distinct atmosphere tailored to the exhibits on display. Thanks to track-mounted systems and interchangeable light distributions, lighting can be flexibly adapted to meet new requirements.
