A variety of ERCO lighting solutions are employed throughout the Danish Royal Library, tailored to different architectural areas. Recessed ceiling luminaires and wallwashers are used in the entrance areas, corridors and pathways. Additionally, spotlights for track are installed in the library’s learning areas and the library garden.
For the green oasis at the centre of the library, Optec spotlights are utilised. Despite the ceiling height, the special lens technology ensures that light is projected precisely onto the target surfaces. This lighting supports plant health while providing students with pleasant, high-visual-comfort illumination.
Optec spotlights and wallwashers also illuminate various learning areas in the library. The lighting can be flexibly adjusted to accommodate different furniture arrangements and the needs of the students, ensuring optimal visual comfort.
