How can light accompany encounters and promote communication?
Holding meetings successfully with light
In multifunctional rooms and event halls the atmosphere can be varied with light scenes featuring different components of general lighting, vertical lighting and accent lighting. Controllable luminaires, for example with DALI interfaces or phase dimmable control gear, can be integrated into light- and building control systems for scenic lighting purposes. With light scenes for seminars and meetings, the focus is on the effortless recognising of participants and the reading and writing at desks. Good glare control and flicker-free light guarantee visual comfort, also during video conferences.
Effectively displaying with light
The same multifunctional room, reconfigured for a lecture situation: here the focus is on the lecturer and the projected content of his presentation. General lighting dimmed to a minimum together with a light accent on the lectern achieves a concentrated atmosphere. A further accent marks the exit for orientation purposes. The vertical lighting of the end wall is completely switched off to enable the projection to achieve its complete brilliance. Flicker-free light complies with the needs of the media, e.g. during video recordings.
Atmospherically celebrating with light
The multifunctional room appears completely transformed when used for a dinner reception. The appropriate light scene creates a celebratory atmosphere and establishes private islands for discussions. Recessed directional spotlights can be precisely aligned on tables and decorative elements, and set highlights on porcelain, glasses and cutlery. Lighting of the surrounding walls via lens wallwashers establishes a prestigious backdrop. Decorative lighting of the ceiling coves contributes to the festive ambience.
